At the beginning of 2023, Club Med Live and Jamspace (a platform that facilitates meetings and collaboration among amateur musicians) joined forces to launch an extraordinary musical artistic springboard. The objective aligned with the values of the Club Med Live program: to offer an opportunity for amateur groups to gain visibility by presenting their pieces and covers during a live-streamed event, with the chance to win an all-inclusive week of live and creative residency at one of our resorts. It was a dream opportunity for them to work on their repertoire in front of an audience.
Palympses: The Grand Winners of the Artistic Springboard
Out of more than 40 candidate groups, three were selected for the final: Debono, Maëve, and Palympses. Despite their different compositions (duo or solo), all these groups met the criteria appreciated by the Club Med Live programming team, notably by offering a mix of covers and original compositions. These three bands then took to the stage of the studio set up by Jamspace to deliver a live performance and compete for the final victory. Palympses, a duo of two brothers with a warm acoustic atmosphere, ultimately won over the jury and clinched the first place.

A Week of Residency on the Open Stage of Grand Massif Samoens
This victory marked the beginning of the Club Med Live adventure for the group, who chose to embark on a live and creative all-inclusive residency at the Grand Massif Samoens Resort in March. This week was an opportunity for them to come together to create, refine their performances on the resort's main stage, ski, and share moments with their invited families. This off-the-grid escapade, amidst the peaks of the Alps, also allowed the group to produce original content for their community.
The duo reflects on this enriching experience: "The concerts went well, the events team and sound/light technicians were very friendly! We really made the most of it. We hope they enjoyed it as much as we did."
An opinion to which the events team responds positively: "Extraordinary! Super talented group. Good energy, very varied repertoire, and very attentive. Congratulations to them for a flawless week."
This departure seems to be the first of many for Palympses.
