Céline Dumartin, a borderless illustrator !

Back then, it was called applied arts. Today, everyone calls it Do It Yourself.

More than a trend, DIY is now a part of our everyday life. You'll find it everywhere: as a hobby, at festivals, DIY events, seminars, etc.

As part of the Club Med Live open stage, we've chosen to promote DIY in various ways: workshops for kids, creative moments for families and live performances for adults.

What better example to illustrate these words than that of illustrator Céline Dumartin? Throughout her first two Club Med Live residencies, this young artist took advantage of the creative freedom of all-inclusive artistic residencies to offer open and varied workshops.

Families rocked their brushes!

Ahead of her departure for Marrakech, Céline drew the outlines of a giant mural with local touches and printed it on 3 large white fabrics. The families on site gathered around this participative mural in the gardens of the Palmeraie to paint together. The result was proudly displayed at the end of the week.

New residency, new project. This winter, the artist designed 6 black and white postcards in our Resort of Peisey-Vallandry. Families were able to fill with colours and write on these postcards together, to finally send it to a loved one, or keep it as a souvenir to hang at home in memory of the sunshine on Peisey’s ski slopes.

The result: dozens of happy families sharing these moments, an artist astonished by the result and 2 Instagram Reels that sum up these moments better than words can (here and there) !
